Some of the characters from Divinity: Original Sin 2 need a fair amount of work for romance. Every Romance Option in Divinity Original Sin 2

To romanticize an NPC in Divinity: Original Sin 2, players must complete quests that strengthen their relationship with the romantic interest they have chosen. There are also flirtatious or friendly dialogue options and things to avoid that can negatively affect players’ relationships with certain characters:

  • Butter – Butter is one of Griff’s lackeys and can be flirted with Act 1. After choosing each loving dialogue option, she will agree to meet the player in Arx (Act 4), and the romance will continue there.
  • The Red Prince – Although the Red Prince is technically a romantic option, his heart actually belongs to someone else. At most, he will consider the player to be a servant. The quest for the Red Prince will lead players to unite him with the Red Princess where he will mate with her and, later, give birth to a dragon.
  • Ifan Ben Mezd – To romanticize Ifan, players will need to help him get revenge on Lucian’s son. Killing Alexander will complete Ifan’s quest. Players must avoid choosing to make Lucian Divine again, otherwise Ifan will despise them.
  • Lohse – Players can keep Lohse’s morale up by choosing encouraging dialogue. Lohse’s quest will revolve around the demon within her who sometimes takes control. Players will reach the final battle with the demon in Arx.
  • Faded – Fane is in the hidden path north of Fort Joy. Players should have him with them when they visit the Blackpits, and it is important that players never heal him as he is undead (it will hurt him). In Arx, make sure Fane is persuaded to deny becoming divine in Lucian’s crypt.
  • Beast – Even after taking the romance option with Beast, he will leave at the end of the trip to explore on his own. The main parts of Beast’s romance option are helping her with Queen Justinia in Arx and having her in the party when she visits Lohar.
  • SebilleSebille’s quest concerns his former slave status, and players must help him kill his former master, the Shadow Prince, to strengthen their relationship. Romancing Sebille also requires players to free the Elves by destroying the Mother Tree.

For each romance, players must choose the strongest dialogue options and complete quests with their partner’s best interests in mind. There are some characters that won’t stay at the end of the trip despite the players’ romances, so they should take this into account when choosing their partner. Divinity: Original Sin 2 has 7 romance options available for gamers to explore.
