Dubbing is a more varied field than some might think. Much of the work is in commercials or audiobooks. The work that fans think about the most is animation. Whether it’s anime dubbing or American cartoon voice-overs, the most well-known dubbers are in these two categories.

RELATED: 10 Voice Actors Most Known For A Role

There’s not much overlap between these two, however. Many voice actors for American anime find these gigs pay better than those for anime dubbing. Additionally, many voice actors are based in Texas due to the Funimation and Sentai Filmworks studios being based there rather than Los Angeles. Still, there are a few voice actors who have been in both cartoons and American cartoons.

ten Zeno Robinson started young

Zeno Robinson began his acting career as a teenager as Alan Albright in Ben 10 alien force. He resurfaced in the voiceover world about 10 years later as a character in One punch man. He has since played Goh in Pokemon and the hawks in My hero academia.

Besides anime, he has also been in American cartoons since his first role. He was Remy in Big City Greensthe Green Poncho in Craig of the Creek, and several characters in Young justice. He even has a lead role in the English dub of Chinese donghua Click on the link.

9 Debi Derryberry had a brain blast

Debi Derryberry had her first role in Hey Vern, it’s Ernest, a saturday morning spin-off Ernest movies with Jim Varney. Since then, she has had voice roles in many cartoons. These roles were usually either young boys or tomboy girls, like Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family or Nergal Jr in The Sinister Adventures of Billy and Mandy.

His most famous role is undoubtedly that of Jimmy Neutron of The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius. What is not well known is that she has starred in a few anime series. She was Zatch in Zatch Bell as well as some characters in Tenchi Muyo.

8 Hynden Walch is the princess of many kingdoms

Hynden Walch has had many roles over the years, but mostly voice roles. Apart from voice roles, she has participated in shows such as Charm and The Drew Carey Show. In the voiceover world, she was Penny in ChalkZone, star fire in teen titans, and Princess Bubblegum in Adventure time.

Although primarily known as Starfire or Princess Bubblegum, Walch has also participated in a few anime dubs. Her most notable role in the anime was as Nia in gurren lagann. She has also been in Lucky Star, Oban Star Racers, and The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.

seven Yuri Lowenthal has a protagonist voice

Yuri Lowenthal took a voiceover course alongside his wife Tara Platt to complete his work in front of the camera. He didn’t know how much work he would get as a voice actor. He spent much of the 2000s voicing the main characters as in Rave Master, Noein, and Saiyuki Reload. He would make his biggest mark in anime as Sasuke Uchiha in the naruto franchise.

RELATED: 10 Benefits Of Being Sasuke Uchiha In Naruto

Along with anime roles, he also directed many American cartoons from the late 2000s. Most notably, he was Ben Tennyson in Ben 10 Alien Force, Ben 10 Ultimate Alien, and Ben 10 Omniverse. He also made appearances in Spider Man and Esoteric.

6 Phil Hartman was a stand up guy

Phil Hartman was a regular at Saturday Night Live in the late 80s and early 90s, as well as on news radio. He was also fondly remembered as Troy McClure and Lionel Hutz on The simpsons. He was mostly on American TV, with one exception.

Before his death in 1998, Hartman recorded for the role of Jiji the cat in the Studio Ghibli film. Kiki’s delivery service. It was one of his posthumous credits, and it was a fun performance. Whether it’s his stint on SNL or as Troy McClure, Hartman remains a much-missed comedian who’s gone too soon.

5 Cristina Valenzuela is a transformative heroine

Cristina Valenzuela, also known as Cristina Vee, has been in voice acting since the 2000s, when she voiced characters such as Louise in Zero’s Familiar and Nanoha from Nanoha Magical Lyric Girl. She was inspired by Sailor Moon continue the voiceover. She would later earn the role of Sailor Mars in the Viz Media dub of the series.

Although she has mainly played anime roles, she has acted in a few western anime. These credits included Xochi on the Cartoon Network show Victor and Valentino and a young Donald Duck in Duck Tales. Another notable credit is Marinette in Miraculous; Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir.

4 Kari Wahlgren has a ton of range

Kari Wahlgren moved to Los Angeles from Kansas City, Missouri around 2000 to continue acting. She has a ton of credits in the animation world. She spent the early 2000s dubbing roles on shows such as Witch Hunter Robin, Last Exile, and Samurai Champloo.

Wahlgren has also earned numerous credits in American cartoons. In fact, that’s what she mostly does these days. Her roles in Western shows include Chloe in season 10 of my godparents are magic and Jeremy’s sister, Suzy, in Phineas and Ferb.

3 Ben Diskin has been serious goofs and heroes

Ben Diskin has been acting since he was young as he was part of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s film kindergarten cop. From there he voiced in cartoons such as Hi Arnold and Codename Kids Next Door. He even won a Daytime Emmy years later as the voice of Gonzo in Muppet Babies.

He auditioned for Blood + in the late 2000s and ended up getting the role despite his lack of voice acting experience. Since then, he has starred in several anime, including Sailor Moon, Seven Deadly Sins, and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. His voice for Joseph Joestar is even reminiscent of Numbuh 1 from Children next door.

2 Tara Strong is a veteran of the trade

Tara Strong started out as a child actress and appeared in cartoons such as Hello Kitty and babar. She played various minor roles throughout the 90s before being cast as Batgirl in batman the animated series and shortly after Bubbles in The Powerpuff Girls.

RELATED: 10 Perfect Anime Roles For Their Voice Actors

She became famous for her portrayal of characters such as Raven (Teen Titans)Timmy Turner(Pretty Odd Parents)and Ben Tennyson (Well 10). What some fans may not know is that Strong has been in some Studio Ghibli films. She got roles in both Taken away as if by magic and Only yesterday. His lack of anime appearances is understandable considering that domestic voiceover usually pays more than dubbing.

1 Steve Blum has a cool voice

Steve Blum is known as the dubbing guy with that really cool voice. From Spike to cowboy bebop to Roger in Big O like Toonami’s TOM, her voice is almost iconic for anime fans. He has done other voices for dubs, including Orochimaru in naruto and JP in Digimon border.

Blum has also done his share of American cartoon roles. He was Vilgax in Ben 10 (and even some of Ben’s alien forms), Jamie in mega XLR, and was even Prometheus in the “Prometheus & Bob” shorts on KaBlam. Perhaps most notably, he was the go-to voice for Wolverine of x-men fame for a long time now.

Developed by Hiding Spot Games, Pins Tags is another Kickstarter success story that shows how public crowdfunding can result in unique and artistic indie games. In less than a week, the project reached its funding goal, and hundreds of backers showed their support for developer Hiding Spot’s cute and slightly spooky narrative game, which will be released on September 22 for multiple platforms.

Pins Tags tells the story of a young deer and the adventure he and his friends unwittingly find themselves caught up in. The anthropomorphic inhabitants of the titular village each have distinct and generally endearing personalities that help bring the story to life, not the least of which is Lucas. Mourning the passing of his father and the more recent disappearance of his mother, Luka’s actions are spurred first by love and later by a greater sense of duty to his hometown.

GAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY

As a story-driven title closer to a visual novel than an actual video game, Pins Tags definitely won’t appeal to some players. There’s very little gameplay, and the majority of the time is spent clicking the same button over and over again, which quickly becomes repetitive, to advance the story. Indeed, the early game takes a while to show its cards and could lose a few players before getting to the right things.

Those who persevere, however, will find themselves immersed in an engaging mystery that can successfully combat the slight sense of boredom instilled by the lack of gameplay. The story, it turns out, is one of the aspects that can keep players going until the end. The game’s cute picture book graphics hide a slightly spooky story that includes murders and conspiracies, hidden identities, and a sci-fi element. There are even a few unexpected twists that may surprise some players as the story unfolds.

Unfortunately, even the mystery of Pins Tags not enough to interest everyone. Lots of reading and lots of opportunities for the mind to wander. Although the game is entertaining, it’s hard to call it fun, and that doesn’t help that Pins Tags a little overstaying his welcome. When players are ready for the end of the game, it continues for a few more hours, even with fast reading and button mashing to browse text faster. It’s likely that some people will just move on and not hold on.

Another remarkable element of Pins Tags is the most touted in marketing materials – the mechanic that makes the game feel like a hybrid between crazy libs and a “choose your own adventure” experience. While reading, words will be found in random places which will be added to a type of lexicon called The Chronicle. At key moments in the story, the player will be able to influence what happens next by selecting an available word. For example, at one point the sky is cloudy overhead and the player has a choice of “rumble” or “break” to decide if the weather clears or starts raining.

These options come fairly regularly, but not frequently. This means that an entire chapter, or even a few, can unfold as a result of a single word choice, and the player has no influence over what happens in those chapters. In other words, choosing a particular word is more akin to driving along a mapped track, choosing the turn off the ride will take next, and then sitting down to watch the new scenery roll by. That means even less interaction than a visual novel like Doki Doki Literature Club or Supermassive The Anthology of Dark Images, which, as noted, may not be enough to retain the interests of some players.

Because each player-selected word leads to a new branch in the storyline that can last for one or more chapters, it can get a bit difficult to keep everything in order. However, the flow of the story, whatever the path, was crafted deftly enough by Hiding Spot to make everything fit together pretty well. The different branches of the story don’t seem completely separate, and the information revealed along one fork in the road fills in the gaps left in other paths. In the end, they all come together seamlessly to form a somewhat satisfying conclusion.

One of the only real negatives to the design of Flagship Pins’ Branching storytelling is the fact that ultimately all forks lead to the same resolution and there are not multiple endings to the story. In fact, although the player has three words to choose from in the final chapter, only one will lead to the true conclusion and epilogue of the game. In a way, this renders The Chronicle and the player’s decisions throughout throughout the game seem almost meaningless.

However, at the end of Tags Pins, every possible option will have been seen by the player. This leads to the understanding that the varied choices in indie gaming aren’t really what’s important. On the contrary, seeing all the scenarios that could have arrived and enjoy watching them play is perhaps the true purpose of the game. populate it.

The different characters are another strength of Pins Tags. Most of the time their personalities are superficial and slightly stereotypical, but the main cast – Luka, Rolo, Beck and a few others – are developed enough that some players care what happens to them at the end of the game. villains will be satisfying, a decision that results in the disappearance of a character will be difficult, and Luka finding out what happened to his mother and getting closure will become important for players immersed in the story.

Along with enjoyable narration by voice actress Kirsten Mize, the Pins Tags The development team consisted of just three other people – Matt Meyer, Ilse Harting, and Brent Calhoun – who all wore multiple hats, including creative director, writer, artist, audio, music, and sound effects editor. It’s an impressive feat that makes the game all the more worthy of appreciation. Unfortunately, despite its positives, Pins Tags just won’t be a hit with everyone. And while its story and gameplay mechanics are interesting and fun, they aren’t necessarily memorable. It’s a game that will definitely attract a select few, but a smaller group will add it to their list of favorites.

Pins Tags releases on PC, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on September 22. Game Rant received a PC code for this review.

Curiosity is the root of adventure. You let it take you to the next switchback, next view, next trail. Likewise, it probably makes you wonder about everything from the color of the sky to why your knees are killing you. We’ve rounded up the most burning questions and spent weeks combing through manuals, deciphering diagrams and reaching out to experts to find the answers. The result? Dozens of facts that will impress even your most cultured hiking partner and leave you with a new appreciation for our world. (Here we answer questions about nature. Check out our deep dives into hiker gear and physiology.)

Most mountains form near the edges of continents or in volcanic regions. How did the Rockies appear in the middle of nowhere?

The classic answer is that an oceanic tectonic plate has been pushed very far below the west coast. According to the theory, “the slab essentially brushed the bottom of the North American plate, and much like pushing a rug across slippery ground, the plate began to ripple in front of where it was being pushed.” explains Craig Jones, professor of geological sciences at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

“It’s a very good idea, but there are inconsistencies with what we see on the ground,” he said. Instead, Jones’s lab does not believe these pushing forces are what created the Rockies per se. Instead, they think the sliding plate is coupled to the upper plate as it descends. During this time, the flow of magma between the plates created strong suction forces that pulled the plates together. The sinking plate was pulled up and the top plate was pulled down, eventually leaving a depression into which masses of rock could fall. To get an idea of how this works, imagine you have a trampoline covered in tennis balls. Now if you crawl under the trampoline and pinch it in the middle and pull down, the tennis balls will roll and collect in the hollow you created. That’s what Jones thinks happened: Geological stress beneath the continent caused the plate to dip, inviting tons and tons of rock to slide inward and accumulate for millions of years. years, creating the mountain range.

Can trees really communicate?

Believe it or not, trees are real talkers. They release chemicals into the air, transmit electrochemical signals through their roots, and exchange carbon and nutrients through vast underground fungal networks. It is according to Suzanne Simard, professor of forest ecology at the University of British Columbia and author of Finding the Mother Tree: Discovering the Wisdom of the Forest. Simard also suspects that trees send signals via the “gazillions of species” of bacteria and microbes in the soil. But what are they talking about? “There’s information in these chemical compounds that can tell nearby trees whether or not there are enemies, like a herbivore eating the leaves or a pathogen that’s affecting the tree,” says Simard. “Neighboring trees detect these compounds, and they are able to increase their own defense against any threat.” Trees are also able to sense the species and relatedness of each of their neighbors and preferentially send nutrients to their offspring. But it’s not just butterflies and rainbows: “There’s collaboration, but there’s also competition,” explains Simard. “Some communications are benevolent, and some are malevolent, just like human language.”

How long does it take for poo to decompose in a cathole?

One to three years (longer in cold or dry environments).

How is the slope formed?

The embankment is an accumulated rockfall. This is more common at higher elevations due to the violent freeze-thaw cycles: water enters rock fissures, then freezes and expands, tearing off pieces of the cliff face over time.

In 2018, 90% of Olympic National Park’s mountain goat population were airlifted because their craving for human urine caused them to act aggressively around park visitors. (Photo: Zohar Lazar)

Why do mountain goats lick urine?

The high altitude vegetation is preciously poor in salt and other essential minerals. You know what isn’t? Pee.

How are solar cups formed?

“Suncups are those features that form on equatorial glaciers and in warmer climates. Usually you see them on glacial ice or firn, which is basically old, compacted snow. There are a few common assumptions as to how they start, but I’d say the best theory is that the dust or dirt specks are shading the snow below, so the snow around the dust speck is melting faster than the snow below. This gives you preferential melting, which can cause a scallop to form. When you get a steeper angle on these features, the sun hits the sides of the cup at an oblique angle but hits perpendicular to the divots. Thus, the divots melt faster than the walls of the cups. These can get quite extreme. I’ve guided up Mount Rainier, hacked waist-deep suncups, and it’s abhorrent. You can also see the same thing happen with large boulders – you might have a multi-ton boulder sitting on a narrow pedestal of snow due to this shading effect. It’s wild. —Max Lurie, AMGA Alpine Guide, Glacier Guide and Amateur Glaciologist

How do lichens grow on rock?

Lichens are made up of two organisms working together: an algae and a fungus. Because they are not plants (and have no roots), lichens do not need soil. Instead, they stick to rock with fleshy anchors called “rhizines” or “hold-fasts” and absorb water and nutrients through their leafy skin.

The term derives from the German word Alpenglühn. (Photo: Daniel H. Bailey via Getty Images)

What causes alpenglow?

According to Stephen Corfidi, a meteorologist from the The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the orange-red to fluorescent pink hues that bathe the high peaks at first light are the result of the same phenomena as the beautiful sunsets. Basically, we usually perceive the sky as blue because particles in the atmosphere reflect short-wavelength light — blues and purples — back to our eyes. But at sunset and sunrise, the sun is so low in the sky that its rays travel farther before reaching us. Thus, the “filtering effect” of the atmosphere is stronger. By the time the light reaches the viewer at the far end of the horizon, all the blue disperses and only the red remains. “The mountains act like a giant cinema screen,” Corfidi explains, capturing these filtered rays.

What is a cryptobiotic soil? Does it really take 100 years to regrow after someone steps on it?

Cryptobiotic soil, also known as biological soil crust, is a hardened, bumpy layer found above ground in desert ecosystems that traps moisture and prevents erosion. For the crust to form, tiny cyanobacteria must colonize the soil and “glue it together” to establish lichens and mosses. The organisms that make up the crust only grow when it rains. According to Jayne Belnap, a researcher at the United States Geological Survey, damaged crusts can rebound after just 10 years in wet places like Idaho. As for dry Moab, Utah? Make that 70 or more. The takeaway: Stay on track. Even areas that appear barren could be at a critical stage of recovery.

Why is this patch of snow pink?

Two possible answers. The first is a species of cold-loving algae (probably Chlamydomonas nivalis) that performs photosynthesis and is pink in color. The second? Well, let’s just say you should ditch the beets.

“What do you think of broccoli? Christine asked.

“I don’t know,” I replied.

“Well, you must have eaten it once,” she insisted.

“Nope.”

“Why not?” she asked.

“Looks funny, kind of like a green sponge that toads could pee on, smells bad and there’s no shortage of corn,” I replied.

“But,” she smiled at me, “the broccoli brings out the lead.”

In early 2021, I had emergency stomach surgery to fix a blockage. Being my fourth such surgery, I knew what to expect. But this operation was different. I didn’t bounce back, like before. I felt like I saw what a dog’s vomit looks like. I had quit smoking for eight months by then and still felt terrible.

Tests revealed heart issues that resulted in a quadruple bypass in December and the repair of a 12-gauge-sized hole in my heart in March. Six weeks after heart surgery, I was back to preoperative capacity, still feeling terrible. Fixing the hole didn’t help. Give it time, they said. Except I knew something was up. A nuclear stress test of my heart proved there was nothing wrong with that department.

Recently the search for another cause started and a test showed high lead in my system. Which can create the symptoms I’ve struggled with for nearly two years.

How the hell can we have lead in their system in 2022?

Good question, but the answer is not surprising when I think about it.

In 1998, as a law enforcement firearms instructor, I often shot at the covered range used for training. One day we all got together and took a class on lead ingestion, what precautions to take to minimize lead exposure, and how to instill this in the students we taught.

There were several things, including proper hand and face washing, no eating or drinking on the beach – inside or out, and banning pregnant women from the beach.

Most of us had been lifelong shooters, and our employer demanded a blood test to establish a baseline. Most of us were old school and didn’t think much about the people who looked after our health.

Nonetheless, we did our blood tests and found that most of us had a small amount of lead in our systems, but nothing to worry me about.

Some might ask how does lead enter the body aside from the obvious? You know the saying “Oh he died of lead poisoning” which means the person was shot. Without trying to be an authority on the subject, I’ve learned that there are a variety of ways.

When using lead bullets without a copper jacket, firing the bullets leaves airborne lead, which can then be inhaled or ingested. Handling these bullets can also transfer lead into your system or, in an extreme case, a man who has carried exposed .22 lead rimfire ammunition loose in his pockets for years has lost a testicle to lead poisoning.

Emissions from each end of the gun may contain tiny lead particles

Another source of lead for shooters is lead styphnate in primers. The airborne particles created when the primer detonates seep into the air in the immediate vicinity. Although not a major source of lead, it can be cumulative and become a problem.

The other source, my favorite, is retained bullet fragments, also called RBF by professionals or clever shooting partners. This is when you were shot but not dead, and lead particles from expanding bullets or shot pellets remain in your system. According to people familiar with these things, if the RBF is blocked in soft tissue, not near an artery, it will likely be benign. If the RBF is disturbed and moves near an artery, it can create problems.

I have an RBF, which I had forgotten about until the test result reminded me.

In the fall of 1968, while my father and his buddies were duck and goose hunting, we were preparing to approach a cattail swamp where the geese had spent the night and were soon to leave.

Another hunting party had set up on the other side and to avoid being strewn with bullets, I was specifically told not to go past a point on the quagmire.

When a 10-year-old boy who loves something more than life itself can’t wait to get out there and do it, things lose their meaning in translation. Arrived at the place where I was not supposed to pass, I could see the geese through the cover of cattails which hid me. They were about 75 yards too far for me to shoot when they got up.

The rational mind of the male child may seem rational only to himself. As I stood in the drizzle with the wind at my back, I thought that since I couldn’t see anyone on the other side, the direction from which a gunshot might hit me, if I sneaked past through the cattails and positioned myself in front of the geese, I would have an excellent opportunity to catch one. It was a shallow quagmire, and I figured I could get it back, and no one would even notice I wasn’t where I needed to be if I had a goose.

It didn’t occur to me that anyone shooting the other side would use BB size pellets, and that was back in the days of lead shot, before it was banned for waterfowl , and how far she could carry.

Once in position, the geese began to honk and continue, a prelude to flight. As soon as the geese got up, the opposite bank burst into gunfire, and I felt stings in my right leg and groin. I momentarily forgot the geese. My immediate focus was how to keep anyone from finding out that I had been shot, especially my mother, who thought I should be in Sunday school instead of hunting. She would forbid me to continue my efforts if she found out.

Quickly, I pulled my pants down, saw three holes, and used my penknife to extract the bullet from the holes in my leg. The other wound was too deep and I left it there, thinking it would dissolve.

The only people I talked to were my friends at school. You can’t be 10, get shot and say nothing.

Several years later, an x-ray revealed that, no, it hadn’t dissolved. I don’t know if this lozenge contributed to my condition, or if lead is even the cause of my symptoms. But I thought it was worth saying in case anyone else has similar issues.

I’m thrilled to report that my smart partner, after being sprayed with shotgun pellets on the opening day of waterfowl season, has the same number of holes in her body that she started the day with.

Now it’s time to gag a mushroom.

There’s something endearing about these two idiots. The idea that a utopia could be created because of a few dumb but kind-hearted brothers wearing stupid outfits is the happiest thing I can think of right now. I just like the idea that people who aren’t perfect or rich or smart or articulate could create a peaceful world. Of course, they have adventures ahead of them.

The death of William Sadler is one of my favorite characters of all time. He appears in his traditional form, with a scythe, hood, and pale face. He challenges the guys to a game for their souls. What do they choose? No strategy game here. No deep riddles or deep thoughts. They give Death a melvin (pulling his underwear up his slot, in case you’re unfamiliar with the term) and challenge him to board games like Clue and Twister.

The adventures they all go on include a trip to heaven, where God sends them to meet the Stations; aliens that look like scraps from a parody of “The Lord of the Rings” or something, that only say “Station”. Groot has nothing on these guys, who also play instruments, because of course they do.

Look, I don’t recommend this if you’re more likely to watch art movies than “What We Do in the Shadows”. However, if you prefer the latter or need to decompress after watching something dark and depressing, this will please you. I mean, Primus appears in the Battle of the Bands. Jim Martin, Faith No More’s lead guitarist at the time, is introduced as “Sir James Martin, Head of Faith No More Spiritual and Theological Center”.

Colony simulation games take players into new worlds, testing their skills in a variety of areas. games like Rimworld challenge player management and expansion skills, to name a few. Immersive worlds and lore create amazing stories told in crisp resolution, as fans of another popular game, the witchercan testify to that. Rimworld and the witcher, due to their success, have influenced the games since their original launches. The next God is one of those titles.

God is an indie game set in a medieval world where developing societies learn to become established colonies in an unforgiving land. The game draws elements from the witcher and Rimworld to create a unique adventure strategy experience. The well-being of citizens influences the success of colonies and their ability to expand. Players must navigate challenging terrain while learning Godof the world.

God features an immersive world that allows for exploration as players lead their people, the Tribe of Dawn, on a quest to establish a permanent settlement in monster-infested lands. The goal is to expand the settlement, or gord, from simple dwellings to strong fortresses capable of fending off the copious amounts of creatures, rival tribes, and other mythological beings seeking to annihilate the Tribe of Dawn. The world and its inhabitants have been influenced by the witcherwhich is not a surprise, because there are former members of the witcher development team working on the game.

Each character in the tribe has sanity and burden levels, which are directly affected by things like hunger, disease, and the death of loved ones. If a character’s levels reach a tipping point, they may go on a rampage or leave the gord entirely. Characters are then cultivated through side quests and chance encounters. Every decision players make influences how the gord will grow and how people will fare.

Management plays a key role in the survival of the gord. Ensuring residents are happy and healthy helps maintain a strong community. Rebellion or desertion decreases population and weakens overall defenses. Since the goal is to turn the gord into an impenetrable fortress, improving structures and defenses is a top priority. The gord is set in less than ideal land, infested with rights who constantly want to kill the Dawn Tribe. Decisions have a huge impact not only on the gord but also on the surrounding world. Players can customize the environment, which influences the daily conditions they face. Virtually every situation has options for the player to consider, whether it’s dealing with enemies or braving the weather.

God offers the opportunity to dive into a graphically beautiful world inspired by Slavic folklore and mythology. Players can explore the surrounding environment and analyze the creatures that inhabit them. While various mythologies are more widely known, folklore is region specific. Many folk legends are tied to specific areas, not just cultures. Exploring Slavic folklore brings a new approach to a genre saturated with more popular and well-known history and myths.

God promises to challenge players’ abilities to effectively lead their people from a simple camp life to a more advanced permanent civilization. Not only must the needs of the citizens be taken care of, but the gord must also be defended against monsters and rival tribes constantly looking for any vulnerability. Exploring the world around the gord highlights the tradition behind God, immersing players in a new realm. The vast game world, shaped by that of the witchercombined with the expansion of management and settlement Rimworld employs is a winning formula.

“For our sixth ship, we dream of an all-new design concept unlike anything Disney Cruise Line has ever done before,” D’Amaro said. “Its great hall is inspired by the great mystery of a golden palace. It draws on real-world influences from Asia, Africa, as well as the distant land of Agrabah.

The ship’s Great Hall features a beautiful statue depicting Aladdin, Jasmine, and the Magic Carpet soaring together in a whole new world of adventure.

The Disney Treasure is coming to Disney Cruise Line in 2024

As Disney Cruise Line fans eagerly await the arrival of the new ship, Disney Cruise Line sets sail for an underworld. From October 2023, the fleet ship, The Disney Wonder, will begin carrying passengers to Australia and New Zealand.

“The ship here is the destination for these voyages inviting guests to this region to experience stories from Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars, and we are thrilled to bring something new to those who have never experienced this type of Disney magic before,” D’Amaro explained. “Now, of course, I’m also thrilled to share that Disney Wonder repositioning cruises will be our first trips to the South Pacific – giving you the chance to experience destinations like Fiji and Samoa.”

At Disney Cruise Line’s newest destination on the island of Eleuthera, guests will be immersed in stories and traditions passed down between generations of local residents. Disney works closely with artists and consultants in The Bahamas to create experiences that represent the natural beauty and rich culture of the country, brought to life by Disney storytelling and the unparalleled service of local cast and crew. In 2019, Disney shared the first details about the Disney Wish and its second Bahamas destination, Lighthouse Point. During Sunday’s presentation, Disney executives said progress continues on the stunning new island that will bring the natural beauty and rich culture of The Bahamas to life for Disney Cruise Line guests.

Disney Cruise Line’s newest destination on the island of Eleuthera will be a vibrant seaside retreat infused with the color and energy of Bahamian art. In addition to pristine beaches, families will enjoy a recreation center, restaurants, shopping, water play area, cultural pavilion and more. (Disney)

“We are still in the early stages, but I can say this will be a spectacular location for our Disney Cruise Line,” D’Amaro said. “We are excited to create a place where you can experience the stories and traditions passed down through generations of Eleuthera residents. We know how much our guests love Castaway Cay, so we can’t wait for you all to set foot in the sand of this new island destination.

Disney Cruise Line is building three new cruise ships that all started with the Disney Wish. Each one features the immersive family entertainment, enchanting storytelling, and unparalleled service that only Disney can deliver.

This September 14, it’s time to indulge your senses, discover your deepest desires, and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime… 3000 Years of Longing is about to make your wildest dreams come true.

Directed by George Miller (successful director of countless iconic films such as Babe, Pig in The City, Happy Feet and the mind-blowing franchise films Mad Max: The Road Warrior and Mad Max: Fury Road), 3000 Years of Longing is adapted of AS Byatt’s much-loved short story The Djinn in the Nightingale’s Eye.

Starring Tilda Swinton and Idris Elba, 3000 Years of Longing takes audiences on a mystical and epic adventure. The magical story begins when Dr. Alithea Binnie (Swinton) travels to Istanbul to give a presentation at a conference. While looking for a keepsake, she finds herself strangely drawn to a folder of trinkets and stumbles across a beautiful keepsake… not knowing that this relic will change her life forever.

A mythical Djinn (Elbe) reveals he has been trapped in the relic and offers Dr. Binne three wishes in exchange for his freedom. As a lonely scholar and creature of reason, Dr. Binnie doubts his reality and reminds the Djinn of many uplifting tales of wishes gone wrong. Desperate for his freedom, Djinn pleads his case to the skeptical Dr. Binnie, who ends up making a wish neither of them could have expected.

Moviegoers can look forward to a dazzling spectacle and the adventure of a lifetime in 2022’s must-see film. Hailed as a “visual feast” at this year’s Cannes international film festival, and earned a standing ovation which lasted 6 minutes, 3000 years of desire garnered rave reviews around the world. slashfilm.com proclaims, “This film reaffirms George Miller as one of the great movie magicians working today.” Awards Daily’s calls this film “a mythical extravaganza that packs an unexpected humanistic punch.” And IGN.com describes how: “Miller revitalizes Arabian Nights with a technological twist…while Tilda Swinton and Idris Elba give it their all.”

The two lead actors can’t wait for audiences to finally see the film on the big screen, with all of its unprecedented spectacle and gripping narrative.

“I think the biggest challenge has always been [being] aware that audiences have seen a version of this character, whether it’s a cartoon version or a comic version,” Idris said in an interview with Yahoo News. “I was really aware that this character was believable, relatable and interesting to watch. It has to be less than that [comical style] and something unique.

Swinton also shared his thoughts, “We were actually talking about this movie for several years before we started shooting. The more time passed, the more relevant I thought this movie was going to be,” she said. “People know more about being locked in a bottle for three thousand years than they knew three years ago,” she said. “They also know what it’s like to be locked up at home.”

From Go Asia Entertainment, 3000 Years of Longing will open in theaters nationwide on September 14.
