Benjamin de CUI named PCSC Athlete of the Week for the seventh time

IRVINE, Calif .– It’s been a good week for Concordia Irvine senior kyle benjamin To say the least.

A new school record in the 100 IM. Knowing he had qualified for three NCAA “B” Cups in the 500 free, 400 IM and 1650 free. Plus, the satisfaction of knowing that he and his teammates clinched first place out of nine competing teams at La Verne Winter Invitational last weekend. Then on Tuesday, the Pacific Collegiate Swim and Dive Conference chose Benjamin as the DII PCSC Male Athlete of the Week – this is the seventh time he has won this award in his career!

The alum from Perry High School in Gilbert, Ariz., Currently ranks first in four different PCSC events. He continues to make waves as he and the Eagles scramble to cut times and establish new marks in the program’s record books.

CUI will have a few weeks off before competing in Riverside at the Lancer Invitational in mid-December.
